Copenhagen 17/5 2020. 33 cl can from Supervin.dk web-shop. Satellite photo of a road crossing a desert on the can.
Pours unclear - almost hazy - orange with small white head. Settles as thin, flimsy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a fairly strong, sweet odor of exotic fruit and more subdued citric notes. Canned, sweet peach, pineapple and mango. Sweet malts. Citrus and lemon.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, greasy, sticky almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong, almost sugary, sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a lighter, citric and bitter undercurrent. Semi-dry finish.
Quite on the sweet side for a DIPA. Only a light fermented touch.
