Full bodied for a pale ale, nice malt build, and its just bitter enough to go down quickly. Compares to a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, but not quite as crisp.

Poured from a 32 oz crowler. Thanks to Andy for bringing this over!
Medium amber with a small white head. Good clarity and decent head retention. Pleasant mix of grapefruit and pine in the aroma. Touch of tropical fruit. Moderate caramel malt. Quick, bitter hop bite in the flavor, rounded out by sweet malt. Good amount of bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied.
Overall, this is a textbook version of an American pale ale. Bitter and refreshing. When beers like this exist, it makes you wonder what purpose the session IPA serves. I would reach for an APA instead any day.
