Introduction: Mr. Oktober is a fantastic Oktoberfest beer. This beer is a strong representation of the style. This is my second year enjoying this Marzen.
Look:Pours a copper/amber color. Color is appropriate for the style.
Smell:The beer smells malty, biscuity, and evokes the essence of fall. A clear representation of this seasonal style.
Taste:The taste evokes notes of malt, biscuit, and a slight hop bite at the end to balance the malty backbone.
Feel:The mouth feel is medium-bodied, but sessional at the same time. It is not overbearing and heavy.
Overall: An excellent representation of the style, and one of my favorite New Jersey brewed Marzen beers.
