Pours a murky yellow with barely any head.
Smell is very much about the licorice and anise with a hint of tart citrus.
Taste balances the licorice and citrus better, being tart and citrusy to start, and then adding layers of licorie, anise and raw licorice root. Good acidity and pretty well put together.
Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.
Overall, a beer for the people who like licorice. Stay clear if you don't.
