Copenhagen 24/6 2020. 33 cl can from Mikkeller web-shop. Whit can with repetitive drawings of the ingredients blueberry, balck currant, raspberries and licorice.
Pours murky burgundy with a big punk head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense with a strong odor of salty licorice and a more subtle aroma of berries. Almost reminds me of the smell of Ouzo. Salt licorice, currants, ripe forest berries. Mostly balanced between the salty and sweet.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a light sweetness followed by a strong sourness and saltiness. Aftertaste sour and salt. Lingers for a while. Semi-dry finish.
Quite the salty licorice bomb with a strange balance to the sour flavor.
