Pours a hazy light orange with fine, soapy head.
Smell is fruity, peppery and slightly earthy. Notes of gooseberries, grapes, citrus peel, melon, grape skins and white pepper.
Taste is intense, fruity and peppery. Notes of gooseberries, grapes, grape skins, citrus, melon and white pepper. Soft bitterness with a rich, dry finish of licorice and grass with some grassy and boozy hints.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft, pillowy and well carbonated.
Overall, a fantastic DIPA that really does the Nelson proud.
