Cerveceria Metropolitana is a neat place, with a very modern build-out and theme. When I visited, they had 18 taps, although only one of those beers was made on-site; it looked like they had 5 or 6 of their own beers on the menu at one time but were obviously running short of their own stuff. All the other taps were local craft beers, however, so even if they are running short it's a good place to stop to sample other beers from the city. The one beer they had was an American blonde ale that was quite good; I would have really liked to sample some of their other beers.
Service was outstanding; we got lots of attention, as it was a pretty slow day at the taproom when we visited. They have a kitchen, and they have a suggested food item for each beer on the menu, which I thought was a pretty cool twist on the "we have these food items, and recommend X beer for each item" model that you see at a lot of gastropubs. In addition to food and beer, they have a small booze cart, so my wife (who is not a beer drinker) could sample some mescals while I tasted beer (she also had a salad she really enjoyed). All in all, a really good destination.
