2 liter swing top growler:

Decants an unfiltered murky honey gold with a massive rocky head that settles to a 2 finger lacing cap that lasts the drink.

Nice nose: caramel, fruits spices and some woody earthiness.

Bight fruity spicy character with a wonderful earthiness..dries up in the finish.

Not overly complex but like a mellow fruity version of Orval. A welcome winter warmer.

Poured from a cool ceramic 2L bottle. This doesn't say "Werelds" Winterbier, but it does say Winterbier from this brewery, so I assume that this is the correct listing.

A: Pours a light cloudy straw color, with a small amount of white head. Retains a film, leaving mild lacing.

S: Mild Belgian style spices, with a strong banana component.

T: Tastes like the spices you can smell, plus a clean lager. It's ok, but not particularly interesting. Finishes mildly astringent, which tastes a little "off".

M: Medium body, medium to light smooth carbonation. Finish is quite dry.

D: Drinks pretty easily.

The beer is OK, but the packaging is awesome. The 2L bottle is worth it as a gift, but I wouldn't buy the beer on its own if it were available.

Price probably discourages many from trying this one. It is a beutiful ceramic mug, and the ladies can think up some uses for it-planter? The beer itself is light mouthfeel and colour, fizzy carbonation, and drinkable. Some spices to a Eurolager would be one way to describe it.

2 Litres jug: Poured a medium amber color ale with a small bubbly head with minimal retention. Aroma of light caramel malt with dry hoppy finish. Taste of semi-sweet caramel malt with light spices mix and some weird dry hoppy finish, which doesn’t, really fits in. Body is somewhat watery with some very low carbonation. I’m glad I tried it but this is a very poor from a usually great brewery.
