Our Homage to David Bowie in a Flagship IPA. Pours a slightly hazy light gold with a foamy white head. Aroma has big papaya notes and piney hops alongside assertive caramel cracker malts. Taste is very bright and crisp, more bready malts with a mild bitter bite and slightly fruity hops that come through stronger than in the aroma. dry hopped with Galaxy, El Dorado & Mosaic Hops!

On tap at the brewery. Pours hazy golden with white head. Body is medium and crisp. Taste is of tropical fruit, bready malt, lactose and herbal hops. Long dry finish. I don't like the style but this brew is good.

A: The beer is slightly hazy yellow in color and has a high amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a two finger high white head that has very good retention properties and took a long time to settle down, but never completely faded away and also left lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of citrusy and piney hops and caramel malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell, except that the malty flavors are a touch stronger and the hops contribute a moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels just about medium-bodied on the palate and has some crispness along with a moderate to high amount of carbonation.
O: This is a classic old school IPA and would pair well with some old school David Bowie music. The only major drawback of the beer was that it seemed to be a bit over carbonated.

Canned on 2/8 enjoyed on 3/3. Pours hazy yellow with a 1/2 inch white head. Honestly it looks a bit thin. Aroma is mild hoppy floral and pleasant. Taste dispels any issue with look, taste is hop bitter with a decent malt sweetness. Feel is also good decent viscosity and mouthfeel. Overall it tastes a better than it looks, and it doesn’t look bad.

Added by Act 25. Their flagship. 1st sample from my local brewer. I produce TEDxAsburyPark in RedBank so it's one of my favorite places in the world. Also home to nearby Triumph (world class beer pub) and Carton (world class craft brewer). Cannot wait to be freed up to visit the brewer!
a) Haze bomb with solid head retention and lacing.
s) Citric, NE Style, the ample four hops in abundance, but more citric than melon or herbal.
t) Continues amply flavored but muddied for me. Mid pack
f) Solid, chewy, yet refreshing, powerful core IPA finish, great food beer.
o) The muddiness reminds me of the Navesink this time of year when over-indulgence in fertilizers kills the fish. So is there an over-indulgence here?
