Solid black appearance with about medium carbonation. Body is just above average with a really slight slick creamy feel. Overall carbonation was a little high but a nice feel to it.
Aroma was a deep intense mix of leather, licorice, malt candy,and black coffee.
Taste is an unusual combination of sweet malt and yet comes off a bit dry. Licorice and leather show up as well as some earthy buckwheat honey.
Really interesting well done beer that packs in a lot of nice flavor. Would have this again
