My first opportunity to taste a product from this brewery and I'm definitely impressed. Solid approach to a Double IPA with a barely noticeable 7.7% ABV. Also impressed with the attractive 16 oz. can in which it was packaged - color and design stand out among the array of IPA's on the store shelf. I'm now anxious to try other Ground Effect products when they become available to me.

Nice large foamy creamy head, good retention and lacing, cloudy hazy medium orange color
Nose nice citrus and tropical fruit, orange juice, pineapple, little grassy from dry hopping, touch creamy like doughy malt base,
Taste big hops, Valencia oranges, mild generic tropical, lots of pith, pineapple, turning a bit grassy and spicy later, mild creamy doughy flaked malts, mild soft juicy no extra minerals, bitterness is light then ramps a bit on the dry finish
Mouth is med bod, soft creamy little juicy, nice creamy carb, very mild alcohol
Overall pretty nice, for the double-ness of it, good malt and soft profile, and hops school stand out, not overly bitter, heavy, or minerals leftover, pretty nice
