This classic 18th century brew was historically popular amongst the hard working class in England and popular with "porters" who carried goods around the cities. It's a balance between dark malts and a generous hop content. We pay tribute to the those who work in the trenches, do the dirty jobs, the thankless work that typically goes unnoticed but highly necessary to sustain our communities.
