Pours an opaque bright yellow-orange that seems to radiate light, somehow. Head is two fingers of white foam after being poured from a 3 day old crowler. Head retention is good. Aroma is tangerine, grapefruit, papaya, mango and orange with a kiss of lemon zest. It smells ripe and full of tropical fruits, giving it a lightly sweet forwardness. Flavor profile is mango, grapefruit, tangerine, orange zest and papaya all wrapped together in a decadent, rich tropical fruit arrangement. Tropical fruits are the start, middle and end. Mouth feel is slightly soft with a gritty texture that greets the tongue initially before bubbling away into a smooth finish. Thickness is moderate or medium. Overall, huge tropical fruits that work well to build and expand on each other rather than all rush for the tastebuds at once. It's dense and full of flavor.
Served in a 15.5oz Speigalau tulip from a 32oz crowler.
