Pours a pale yellow with a near crystal-clear transparency. Head is two fingers of white foam. Aroma is flush with dry, crispy hops and malts. Resiny, herbal, piney hops give the front that punchy west coast IPA panache, with dry bready, biscuity, and earthy malts firming up the back, keeping the hops from lingering past their welcome. Flavor profile is just a sublime blend of hops and malts, with hops coming by way of resiny, herbaly, earthy, and piney hops developing some light sweetness followed up by bitter hops. Together they balance each other out well. Bready and earthy malts add a little firmness and dryness to the back of the flavor profile, singing an outro chorus with piney, herbaly hops. Faint tropical fruits add a little further sweetness to the front. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with an initial sharp crispness that bubbles down to a more mild crispness. Overall, hops are the focal, but refrain completely washing out the malty balancing backbone. The star of the show doesn't forget to recognize the staff making this beautiful film possible.
