Pours a medium brown, with only a small amount of light makes its way through. Light carbonation and minimal lacing. The smell is a bit more coffee-forward than cinnamon; however, the cinnamon is more noticeable than the coffee in the taste. Neither overpowers the base caramel malt flavor. The mouthfeel is light for the ABV and finishes with an enjoyable sweet and cold-season spice mix.

Pours a dark, dark brown with two fingers of khaki foam. Head retention is good. Aroma is sharp cinnamon, followed by soothing coffee. Little spicy punch right up front. Bready, caramely, earthy, and toffee malts add some extra sweetness and depth. Flavor profile is caramely, bready, toffee, toasty, and earthy malts, in the order from greatest to least. Cinnamon adds some heavy spice influence, with medium-roast and medium-bodied coffee adding a touch of bitterness, acidity, and extra flavor. Coffee is well balanced and folded into the profile. Mouth feel is medium-thick with a light grit, akin to adding a spoonful of cinnamon to a glass of water (for the texture, at least). Overall, a bold brown ale supports ripping notes of cinnamon and coffee. The thickness and complexity of the underlying brown ale is nearing towards a stout in terms of depth and thickness.
