Shifting Shapes is a West Coast Pilsner that is dry-hopped with Citra and Mosaic. It pours a beautiful bright gold and stays true to its lager roots with a clean, crisp, and floral finish. Due to the dry-hop, we get big aromas of fresh berries, earthy citrus, and a touch of breadiness from the malt.

Pours a translucent honey yellow with two fingers of stark white foam that retain well. Aroma is tropical fruits, citrus, and resiny hops with bready, wafery, crackery, nutty and earthy malts behind. Hops are a flash in the pan, while the malts provide the slow simmer of substance behind. Flavor profile is more mingled between hops and malts, sharing the focus throughout vs. shifting cleanly between the two. Hops are citrus, tropical fruits, and resiny with wafery, crackery, bready, nutty, and earthy malts. Emphasis is more on the lighter malt notes such as crackery and wafery. Mouth feel is crisp with a medium-thin consistency with a sharp start that gives it a crisp and refreshing feel. Finish is a little more soft. Overall, a flash of hops with a quality, crisp and refreshing lager underneath.

Served in a 15.5oz Speigalau tulip from a 16oz can.

Poured from can at fridge temp. Pours a nice semi-transparent yellow with quickly fleeting white head. Nose is sharp, fresh, and crisp. Definitely a nice amount of orange, wheat, pear, and apple. Lovely nose! A touch of honey and caramel after a little bit. Slight grassy note emerges. Overall, the nose is sweet.

Taste: Nicely parallels the nose. Quite flavorful and vibrant. Orange, wheat, bread, caramel, and a woody taste. Unlike the nose, there is a definite hop bitterness on the back end and on the aftertaste. Pears. A touch of green grapes comes for a visit. This is really interesting and very refreshing.

Mouthfeel and overall: The feel is light and crisp. Overall, a really nice beer that is easy to drink.

16oz undated can poured into a Spiegelau IPA glass at fridge temp 5.8% ABV. The beer pours very bright light golden amber with very light khaki head. The head recedes to an irregular ring, some bubbles and spotty lacing. The aroma is moderate in strength featuring candied orange, pineapple and caramel malt. The taste is semisweet caramel malt with hints of citrus and pine. Medium bitterness. The mouthfeel is thin bodied with average carbonation and a mostly dry finish. Overall, very good. Thanks @Harrison8
