Pours black with a finger and a half of frothy khaki foam. Aroma is coconut through and through. Coconut is shredded and toasted. Beyond coconut is roasty and toasty malts and a little caramel sweetness. Coconut accounts for ~85% of the nose. Flavor profile is shredded and toasted coconut, creating a bulk of the drinking experience just as it does in the aroma. Chocolate, lactose, and roasty and toasty malts add some different notes and support throughout, but all play in the shadow of coconut. Mouth feel is creamy with a watery backhalf. Thickness is medium. Overall, a heavy coconut bomb with creamy lactose and malts for a smooth drinking experience. Thinking this is what it would taste like to take a sip of whole milk if it was made from coconuts.
