Pours black with two fingers of khaki foam. Aroma is heavy spices out front - cinnamon, cardoman, and nutmeg. Medium roast coffee just beyond the spices, which segways into orange rind nicely. Roasty and toasty malts add support, but the bulk of the nose is shifted and focused on the spices and coffee. Flavor profile is spice lead again - like walking down the spice aisle at a health food store. Cinnamon, cardoman, and nutmeg form the bulk of the spices. Medium roast coffee at medium strength sits just out front of orange zest, and dark & milk chocolate. Big flavor profile despite the ABV. The halls are decked out on this one. Mouth feel is medium-thick with a plush, creamy, and smooth texture. Overall, jammed full, but not noisy. It's a smooth hit of spices that concludes with coffee and orange zest.
