Brewed in collaboration with our friends at BKS Artisan Ales, we utilized Citra Incognito, Citra Lupomax, (regular ol’) Citra, Strata, and a really beautiful lot of Motueka. With so many advanced hop products in this DIPA, you’d think our package yield would have been fantastic, but when you use an uneconomical amount of dry-hops we came out with much less than expected. The GREAT news is that this beer tastes and smells fantastic. We get big notes of freshly cut citrus, peaches & cream, and overripe tropical fruits. Opening a can smells like opening a bag of hops, and we're not mad about it. At the end of the day, does the yield make it taste better? Enjoy the fruits of our inefficiencies!

Pours a pale orange with an opaque transparency. Head is a finger of snow white foam. Aroma is ripe papaya, grapefruit, tangerine, guava, and orange zest. There is a heavy emphasis on papaya and grapefruit, with some earthy hops showing up right at the end. Flavor profile brings grapefruit right to the front, with tangerine, orange zest, and late guava adding to the tropical fruits. It's semi-sweet, balanced out by the rindy, lightly twangy grapefruit note. Some late earthy hops and green notes further rounds it out. Mouth feel is lightly chalky, but otherwise plush. It has a medium thickness. Overall, loaded and full. It's a grapefruit bomb.
