French-style Pilsner
The newest member of our pilsner program brewed with a diverse lineup of all French hops including Strisselspalt, Triskel, and Barbe Rouge. This is an exciting take on a style that you know we love to make, with hops sourced from the Alsatian region of France. We attribute the unique floral and fruit-forward characteristics in this beer to their Alsatian terroir. The malt character provides a honey-like foundation, and while we went with a more modest hopping regime, the aroma packs transcontinental notes of dried lilac and apricot skin. Parlez is astonishingly effervescent and crisp, and we imagine ourselves enjoying this amongst the shimmering canals of Strasbourg.
Tasting notes: dried lilac, apricot skin, honeysuckle, crisp.

16oz can with no date. Opened 1-15-23.
2 finger dense white head with very good retention. Pale golden with excellent clarity. Thick lacing. Light whiff of sulfur and a faint floral perfume. Light honey and malt flavors with a grassy/earthy hop and a subtle fruit flavor. Medium body and carbonation, nice hop bite...close to a crisp mouthfeel with a clean finish. Very Good.

Poured from a can at fridge temp. Pours a gorgeous transparent yellow with a solid inch of head. Some lacing after the head recedes. Bubbles mainly rising in the middle of the glass, and persistent. Nose is lemon, orange, wheat, sweet candy, slight dankness, grass, and a nice subtle hoppy note. The taste is crisp and refreshing. I absolutely love this. Slightly sweet - like a hard lemon candy. Almost a touch of sourness. A slight amount of citrus peel. Wheat, honey, and crisp hops. A nice malty note as well. Mouthfeel is light and refreshing. What a great beer!

Pours a crystal-clear dehydrated yellow with two fingers of white foam. Aroma is herbal, floral, green apple, and lemon hops with crackery, wafery, and light biscuity malts behind. Earthy malts come on later. It leads crisp and sharp, hitting hop notes quickly, before crispy malts dry it out. Flavor profile takes a little bit more time to sing, but is still brief. It hits floral, herbal, and honey hop and sweet notes before crackery, biscuity, and wafery malts wrap it up. It opens up full, but is quickly dried out, concluding with a dry finish. Mouth feel is very refreshing thanks to a consistent crispness throughout. Effervescence is bubbly, but drops short of being porous like champagne. Thickness is medium-thin. Overall, between the crisp texture, and the dry finish, this one drinks very refreshingly. It develops some early intrigue via the herbily and floral hop notes, and then recedes quickly for a staccato, endearing taste.
