Our rendition of Kansas City brewer Rodney Beagles' Shuttle Hop. Rodney left the world too soon and the proceeds from this beer will be donated to his two young children. We collaborated with our friends at 3Halves Brewing and chose to go with the OG pale ale version of Shuttle Hop. We integrated our own twist on this juicy pale ale with an insatiable amount of El Dorado and Mosaic hops. El Dorado was one of Rodney's favorite hops and the wonderful folks at Hollingbery contributed an absolutely spectacular lot for this beer in order to maximize the contribution for his boys.

Pours a dark yellow-orange with a finger of white foam. Aroma is citrus in a tight blossom. Mango and melon come in later. Flavor profile is orange, mango, and dragonfruit. Bready malts pop through the mix, adding some firm groundwork for the hops. Big orange at the finish, along with a mild hop bite. Mouth feel is softly crisp, with a medium thickness. Overall, a citrus forward pale ale that strikes balance with late forward malts. This combo makes it easy to drink as a refreshing sipper, or flavorful quaffable beer by the pool.
