Pours a bright gold with a near clear transparency. Head is two fingers of white foam. Aroma is orange right off the front. Tangerine, nectarine, and a little resin and grass land behind orange. It's sly, with a fine dry finish. Not overly juicy, hitting some quality citrus notes, then moving along. Flavor profile is more of the same, but with a little more depth. Oranges mingle with melon, tangerine, and nectarine. It has a little more of a juice drip to it, at least on the onset, than the aroma. Following those juicy notes are sticky hops - resin and grass, with some doughy, biscuity malts forming a dry finish. Mouth feel is medium in thickness. Effervescence is frothy at the start, but stills out to carry a mild grit at the end. Overall, great taste, but the aroma lags a little. Does what it the label implies - delivers notes of oranges with a dry, crispy west coast IPA finish.
