We’re honored to be included in the St. Patrick’s Day celebrations at the infamous Kelly's Westport Inn. Now in their third generation of family ownership we wanted to brew something special for them that modernizes beers from the past to today’s world.
The resulting beer is ultra crisp but with a honeycomb-like malt sweetness, subtle herbal hop character, and it’s as pale as can be. Third Leaf is built for a session, for an occasion, and for three generations of being the epicenter of Westport. Sláinte!

Tasty, well balanced lager with good mouthfeel; nice hoppiness for a lager; a grainyish/malty/biscuity/slightly straw-like flavor and a clean, crisp, quick-fading finish. Very quaffable and slammable indeed!

Pours a middle of the road beer yellow with a clear transparency. Head is a few fingers of white foam with good retention. Aroma is immediately into crisp wafers, honey crisp apple, and biscuits. Faint notes of grass, herbals, and spice add some dynamics to the malt backbone. Crispness is great! Aroma is staccato and brief. Flavor profile is back to crispy wafers, honey crisp apple, biscuits, and a touch of caramel malt. Hops are light, but firm, hitting notes of grass, zest, and spice. Really great balance here, affording a dry, crispy lager with a kiss of hop. Mouth feel is crispy with a medium thickness. Overall, a really crispy and easily crushable lager that carries some wonderful nuance.
