The Helles style lagers are typically full-bodied, mildly sweet, and light-colored, with low bitterness. Our Munich-style Helles is a yellow beer brewed with bottom-fermenting yeast, and a bittering hops. Bright, snappy, and refreshing.

Very clean look to this one. Clear as can be with effervescence continuing throughout. Your typical hefe, with typical great clean drink ability. Nice beer.

Crisp, clean, light and built to show American industrial lager fans a taste that's more genuine, more flavorful and of higher quality, Versailles Brewing has an even keel take on the German helles (light) lager.

Light straw and strikingly clear, the beer builds a frothy swath of foam before leading with a fresh baked bread and lighlty floral scent. Hints of apple and sulfur add roundness and earhiness to the nose before the taste reveals a return to fresh kilned grain character with breadiness and cereal qualities.

A balanced middle palate brings a hop spice that develops from the floral upstart and into a pleasant lemongrass and lemon pepper bite. Esters of apple pull from the hops an add a pleasant refreshment and a slight tanginess due to the beer's quickly drying character A spicy bitterness of hay finishes the session with a mild hop and mint tilted balance late on the palate.

Light in body, the beer's mild carbonation keeps the session soft, even at the risk of being slightly watery. A short after palate of hay and hops have the next drink beckoning- perfect for a game day session with a simple and clean palate, and to wash down the Bavarian pretzels off their menu.
