L: Had this at Krikelkay Brewing Co., poured into a taster glass. Had a dark, mahogany brown color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a half inch of foamy, off white, fairly long-lasting head. Sparse lacing.
S: A decent, but not spectacular aroma of malt, cream, chocolate, lactose, and caramel.
T: Tasted of small amount of lactose (less than some milk stouts), a moderate amount of milk chocolate (needed more), light caramel notes, some cream, and a good shot of malt. This is one of those somewhat uneven flavors. At times you get more chocolate than cream, and vice versa. Needed a bit more balance.
F: A decent amount of carbonation with a smooth, creamy finish. Medium-bodied.
O: This is an uneven beer, but likable still. Worth a look.
