these guys have been a taproom and restaurant for awhile, and have only recently begun brewing their own. they have a small system and a handful of beers on now, but apparently plans to expand soon, it must be going well. all of the beer is really basic, unnamed and simple, a wheat, a red, a pale, that sort of thing. this wheat is fine, but really nothing special and still a little amateur to me. its a little flat in the glass, not fully clear, and with a slightly belgian aroma to me, just like it was fermented too warm, not overly estery or chemical or anything, but beyond what should be in a basic american wheat. its also oddly alcoholic for what it is, and without the usual body that accompanies the wheat, it seems exposed to me like crazy. nuance of cut flowers, dry cereal, and light green apple. more carbonation would help this a lot, and just some general refinement. its not bad, none of them in here were, but it also wasnt enough to get me back in here for more. passable, but i only wanted one of them.
