This beer pours a murky, brown color with a thin head and some visible carbonation.
Smell is very full with distinct maltiness and caramel with some earthiness. There is a slight vanilla smell and some light alcoholic whiffs, which make the beer a little boozy. It appears to be quite full-bodied and sweet.
Taste is malty with caramel, dark malts. The earthiness is present and is coming from the yeast I think. Very few hops used. The body is full and sweet, but not very sticky. Some vanilla in the back. The overall taste is not very fresh, but still a nice sipper for the winter.
