Crowler can. Label is marked for fill date as '1SEP21'.
Unfiltered, cloudy, pale gold colored body. One thin finger of white head quickly recedes to a skim cap. Leaves some spots of lacing. Delivers some dregs with the final pour.
Aroma of wheat malt, bubble gum, and banana/cloves.
Taste is wheat malt, banana/cloves, and some spice. All flavors continue into the aftertaste.
Strong medium mouth feel. Good carbonation.
Surprisingly good, in that the crowler was filled with beer about 100 days ago. Expresses the hallmark sharper wheat malt and the yeast esters of a Hefeweizen. Carbonation is a little lacking due to the age of sitting in the crowler can. This one would be a good one to try fresh.
