we had a wonderful time here, the beers, especially the fresh hop stuff, was among the best ive ever had, and i think these guys dont have much longer of flying under the radar, the liquid was special, the place is rad, and the whole experience was a great one, cannot wait to visit again! people always talk about how yakima is sketchy, but this place seems in the center of town and is in a quite nice area, felt more than comfortable walking around at night here, nice restaurants all over the place and such, clean streets, im not flustered by much but the area seemed nicer than when i was last here many years ago. the space is fantastic, fairly big but it felt cozy, new but not sterile, a neat vibe. spacious. garage doors on the side to a nice patio area, plenty of seating in the inside area, we ended up at a high top a few steps from the long bar. tanks are visible through a large window to the production area, and this is a real chill place for some pints! the beer list was awesome, maybe two dozen beers pouring, more than half of them ipa types, and a lot of fresh hop stuff, there is no better time to be in here i dont thank than during the harvest and in the weeks after, epic selection for the hop head. i had not just one of the best fresh hop beers ive ever had, but one of the best beers of any kind ive ever had here, called fresh luck, brewed with an amazing mix of varietals from eight different farms, all fresh from the fields, freaking insane! as good a beer as ive ever consumed frankly, but i enjoyed the others we had from them, a nice simple pils type lager and another fresh hop brew called northern danger that was also solid. i was getting a bit buzzed up by the time we sat down here, so didnt drink nearly as many beers as i wish i had the capacity for, but the ones i did have were great. cool to chat with some folks here too, everyone was nice and welcoming, excited to have out of town beer nerds in, and generous with their time for sure. i really cant say enough about this place, elite beer on the hoppy side, modern and intentional and smart, and its a great hang out spot. will be top of my list when i return to the area!

I visited Single Hill while in town for Fresh Hop Festival about a week ago. When I visited, they had about 16 beers on tap, with a goodly range of styles and several fresh hop beers befitting the season. There are several guest and collab beers as well, so they have a lot of different options. The fresh hop beers were the highlight, however.

There is a giant patio with food trucks and many tables and whatnot. They’ve got a wall of hops out front, adding to the agricultural credibility of the place - it’s a super good hangout. Quality of the beers is decent and the service up at the bar (order at bar but no bar seating) is good. I had a very enjoyable time at Single Hill.
