They have awesome beers. Everyone of them is delicious. Very cool place also. Out in Rowena,Tx.......old gas station, maybe 400-500 people population.

Horny Toad is in Rowena, TX, and is one of the few places in the town actually open on Saturday. Plenty of street parking is available. The brewpub itself is an old gas station. As you enter the first room you find part of the owner/brewer’s collection of beer bottles and growlers and some merch (glasses, hats, shirts) available for purchase. The smaller second room has more bottles and leads into the larger third room which has the bar, a couple of tables, more bottles and glasses, and a huge TV behind the bar. The owner, Michael McNeill, tends bar and will give samples of the twelve or so beers currently on tap. Of the four beers I sampled and the two I drank – a porter and an IPA – two were excellent and two were OK. There are only limited non-alcoholic beverages available for your designated driver or kids and food is not routinely available. Outside tables are available. Currently Horny Toad Brewing is only open on Saturdays so check the website or call ahead before showing up.
