Sampler pour.
Very pretty looking silky black, thin ring of beige head.
Aroma is simple and sweet, mocha and wet earth.
Flavor brings some dusty roasted malt, earthy hops, a whisper of dry cacao, and some burnt toast. There is almost no mocha sweetness to this beer, and there is no body or depth.
Feel is on par with a 5% oatmeal stout but no larger. Slick but thin. Slight slickness and a nip of dryness. More like a porter.
Overall this beer is very below average. No flavor, body, depth, or craft! This was like a Shock Top sampler pack beer. Pass forever and always.
