Called "Booty On The Beach"
Sampler pour. Golden blonde.
Aroma does not bring much to the table. I get some grassy dew sweetness and maybe a little pineapple juice.
Flavor brings that same grassy sweetness and elements of pineapple and rum. This is more flavorful and approachable than their other beers. Slight fading suggestions of sawdust and coconut.
Feel is a bit on the thin side, especially considering the other beers at the event. But since I'm so excited that one of their beers actually tastes like something, it didn't bother me all that much.
Overall this beer brings the level of flavor that should be achieved WITHOUT barrel aging in the first place, and it's too bad they have to use a barrel to lean on to get something of this caliber (very much like Alltech). Nonetheless, brewing prowess aside, I liked this one. I would likely drink this again. Maybe they should barrel age all of their beers.
