6oz pour at brewery, $5
Slick black, with a creamy finger of head
Massive aroma of pecan pie, coconut, vanilla, cherry pie tart, and pastry crust.
Flavors of dark chocolate, pecan, cashew, coconut, raisin, hostess cherry fruit pie, slight infection twang, peach & granola, complex but weird
Feel is slick, smooth, semi creamy, well hidden alcohol.
Overall, a decent imperial stout but has some issues.

Covert Artisan Ales No Nuts, No Glory! Imperial Stout, 11% ABV. Pours thick deep brownish black, with a half-finger brown head that left no lacing. Nose is - not much, slight chocolate and nuts. Taste is also pretty weak, slight coffee, chocolate, and nuts, slightly sweet, slightly bitter. It did leave a coating of brown sugar on my lips. Excellent mouthfeel, if a bit light on carbonation. Overall excellent. Given the listed add-junks, I had expected a pastry stout but they didn't add enough junk. Excellent, but could have been a contender.
