6 oz pour at Covert.
Juicy but not as thick as I've seen recently, about a finger of head that leaves lots of nice lacing behind.
Aroma is indicative of a quality-made plains hazy though actually better than anything else I've smelled either here or in Nebraska. Sweaty first, with hints of gooseberries, white grape, orange juice, peach candy rings, and wet hop log.
Flavor brings juicy first and bitterness last. Hits first with oranges, orange peel, grapefruit, lemon peel, gooseberry, peach, and finishes on pine, dirt, herbal hops, and a hint of fresh onion.
Feel is juicy, highly carbonated, with some forward alcohol heat that continues to bite the cheeks after it's swallowed. Medium bodied, flaked something definitely used, with a slight crisp pilsner bite, too.
Overall, probably the best IPA I've had from a South Dakota brewery. On point, great stuff. Their current board right now IMO is the best it has ever been.
