330ml Draught serving in Küchlin, Basel (6.00 CHF):
Another disappointing Swiss beer, I've not got off to the best of starts with their beers. I ordered this thinking it'd be a little different given it was a winter seasonal but it wasn't much different from their pale lager in truth with only some caramel & faint spice added here; quite a bland & boring beer overall, definitely not one to seek out.

pale bronze colour, small head ... Bready nose .... dryish, yet fruity (golden delicious apple, hints of lychee) .... light-medium bodied with chewy but sloppy malt profile .... some caramel in a finish with low bitterness ...
this tastes like a re-vamped Feldschlösschen lager ... one of the better brews from the company, however nothing near the expected "winter warmer" ....
