Karrikin Spirits Company

Karrikin definitely has a focus on spirits but their beer offering is certainly up to par with other breweries that do beer only. 8 different beers on tap along with 7 sparkling spirits. Quality is top notch, I would describe this as an upscale place. Service was very nice and attentive. When discussing the beers with the server, I was offered a "Diesel"!!! A mix of beer and cola. As a German, I know what it is and was so surprised to hear this from a US brewery. They make their own cola in house! I know the mix with wheat beer but their offer is with the dark lager. I liked both!
We had the Mushroom Bolognese, caramelized brussels sprouts and fries, all was very good.

They are really swinging for the upscale at this spot and they focus way more on the spirits side of the operation. The beer is pretty good, so it's a shame that isn't more of the focus. The service is not great and they seemed surprised that a person sitting at their bar was looking for a drink. A little more attention to those two things and they'd really have something.
