Great spot with a great outdoor area. Well designed inside and a good place to be. Selection was pretty good. Service was slightly passive and grumbly (which I don't mind too much). Had stuff to-go as well.

I’ve been here a few times over the last 5-6 years as it’s close to 7bridges ice arena and I’ve had a lot of time to kill waiting for hokey games/figure skating events to start.
Lots of room and they do a good business- always busy when I’ve been there. Beers are good to very good. Food is very good to excellent. Overall, it’s worth stopping in for a good meal and a couple of beers.

A short detour from the Morton Arboretum for some beers & eats. Entrance is adjacent to the patio, may have to walk a bit depending where you park. Ersatz town square vibe, across from some recently built apartments, a shake & bake neighborhood if you will.
Inside everything is clean & modern with a good amount of wood accents around. Some shelves with Crate & Barrel decor and painted tile under the bar. Lots of tv's in the bar area. Comfy leather seats with a side lip that were a little tricky to exit.
Beers were ok, I stuck mainly to the traditional styles and there was a good selection. Mild, IPL, Amber, IPA, Irish Red. The IPL was good though nothing else really stood out. They had a wall of awards for BA stuff, but nothing barrel-aged currently on the menu.
Service was good, everyone was nice and the beers & food came out pretty quickly. It was a busy packed house on a weekend. Food was pretty good, bar food mostly. Overall I might stop back in to try different beers, but Bavarian Lodge is still my go-to around here.

This visit was to try their beers and to have dinner. The place is located in a building that is among other stand-along buildings of retail businesses. Apartments were across the street. A beer garden is located at the end of the building just outside of the entrance, and an overhead door can give wide access on nice-weather days. The interior looked mostly like a bistro restaurant except that the brewing equipment was visible behind the bar. The U-shaped bar has seating for 16-18 people, and there are plenty of tables/chairs that fill the rest of the place. Several TVs were placed to be visible to most seats. The vibe and service were okay.
There were 12 beers on tap although it looked like there were 20 taps. There was also a guest cider but I don't know if it was on tap. The variety seemed to be aimed at the new beer customer since fruited selections, a milkshake beer and a pastry stout were on the list. We were told that the light-tasting was the most popular beer. We ordered a sampler flight of 6 in order to evaluate the beers overall, and added a seventh selection later. All were brewed very well to style, but none were in a notable category. The exception was a 'Brewer's Choice' that was a blueberry English ale, but it was in a notable category the wrong way. It was not very good at all. We gave a grade of a B-minus overall.
The food that we had was very good. The bar offers cocktails and wine in addition to the beers. The place seemed noisier than most pubs, but it was getting crowded. It would have been a better experience if the beers had rated a little higher, but it still was a good experience. It's a worthy visit if you're in the area.

Welcoming to all (including those people with screaming babies) . Denizens were a cross-section of western suburban Chicago. A good place with their own beers (twelve). Tried four (no IPAs) which were all solid. Inventive appetizers and flat breads - not typical bar fare and on par with the beer.

A brand new place with a large bar area, dinning, (Pizza and such), area game area and side bar. All 3 beers we had were tasty. place is packed but owner still had time to chat with us. Other staff were nice. The Brewer done doing good beers so far, will go back soon.
