Anvil is a smooth, dark, porter with hints of roast, chocolate and dark fruit. Closer to the American-style porter than the British style, bitterness is moderate and balances nicely with the full malt body.

Clear black with a large solid tan head. Inviting rich chocolate nose. Medium roasty malt body. Mouthfeel is crisp, not thick but quaffable.
