Much more balanced and herbal than you get with most craft stouts - the coffee and caramel sweetness that start hard have a counterpoint in a floral lemony finish. And for €2 a bottle from the brewery, who's complaining?!

330 ml bottle. Pours brown with beige head and nice lacing. Aroma is of toasted malt, dark fruit and brown sugar. Body is medium and smooth. Taste is of toasted malt, brown sugar, dark fruit herbal hops and some chemicals. Long sweet finish. Ok brew.

500ml keg in Dubrovnik Beer Factory, Dubrovnik (63kn):
Opaque black with a thin, foamy tan lacing that's mainly around the circumference then disappears completely in the middle. Light smelling with lactose & milky chocolate, a roasted bitterness & faint coffee; it's light but quite creamy throughout. The taste is quite sweet & milky, roasted malts & subtle coffee flavour. It's balanced with a creamy, smooth feel & medium body; it's not overly complex but easy to drink & enjoyable.

On tap at the brewery taproom.
This mIlk stout pours with an opaque brown-black body. The tan head has modest retention and leaves minimal lacing.
Complex but not harmonious aroma and flavor with a touch of sour, mild bitterness and more hops than expected.
Medium-full smooth body with light carbonation.
