Unfiltered IPA double dry hopped with Cashmere.
Pours a glowing amber. Aromas of eucalyptus and root beer. Smooth, rich and full-bodied with flavors of white chocolate, coconut, pawpaw and mint.
Brewed with Maris Otter, light Munich, flaked oats, raw and malted wheat.
Canned October 2019

Translucent amber pour, West coast style. Next to no head, less retention, zero lacing. Strong malt character, very little Cashmere coming through the sweet doughy aromas, and the flavors mirror that. I love Cashmere hops and was looking forward to cracking this can, but it was a letdown for me.

Bigger IPA, so I opted for a tulip.
The appearance was a semi-golden dark burnt bronzed copper color with a thinning slim white foamy head. Some light lace near the top sticking nicely.
The aroma had some eucalyptus, some birch/root beer spiciness then some grassy and lemony character. Subtle sprucy tones balance underneath.
The flavor leaned towards a brisk sprucy to eucalyptus herbal sweetness then the birch/root beer spiciness comes in for a delicate balance. Quick aftertaste of spruce, lemon, eucalyptus herbal tones and birch root.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Good carbonation. Slight stickiness but allocates a fine smooth herbal tone as it finished in the same manner.
Overall, as odd as this beer sounds, I'd say this definitely works for me, though I didn't get any white chocolate but I think I liked that more without the white chocolate.
