Double Dark Sour Ale with blood orange and drinking chocolate. Brewed with chocolate malt, raw wheat, flaked and malted oats. Notes of citrus, raspberry and cocoa. Lush mouthfeel with a bright and dynamic finish.

Aroma is orange/juice and medium sweetness. The flavor is orange, lemon/lime soda, malts, grapefruit and a mildly sweet/slightly tangy/vinegar finish.

Can to tulip.
The appearance was a fairly nice looking dark brown close to black color. Small eggshell white foamy head slid off delicately. Mellow wispy lace sliding with the sips.
The aroma had a thirsty blood orange sweet pulp playing with dark chocolate sweet smooth yet cocoa nib-like qualities with a super subtle milk chocolate composure.
The flavor leaned towards the sweet side just a touch as it developed a keen powdery sweet dry dark and milk chocolate goodness playing all around. Aftertaste of semi-sticky milk chocolate and orange pulp.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Good carbonation. Some smoothness with a semi-dry yet sticky cocoa powdery substance. Finishes with that same smoothness of the cocoa powder.
Overall, as an American wild ale this is absolutely amazing! But this isn't a Berliner weisse in any sense of that style.

Can at share. This one really divided the room, some loving, some hating. Dark, black, flat pour. Aroma is oranges, blood oranges. Oranges prominent in the taste too, sweet, citric, tart. Sticky.
