my first from these guys, they have been slowly trickling into idaho, but at something like seven bucks a can, it has taken until now to get into any of them. this is really special beer, fantastically executed and very unique as the dry hopped sours go, and i was immediately impressed with this, as was my wife. i thought that yet another one of these breweries in this portfolio without a real brewery making trendy stuff was one too many, but here i stand corrected, i love this. it pours a beautiful pale straw color, back lit with a sunny glow and holds a full inch of airy white foam on top. it smells puckery but clean, fruity and not over hopped. i taste distinct green gooseberry, tangy passion fruit, green apple, and ripe kiwi fruit, a very cool hop profile with the acidity, some synergy happening there, i even get a botanical element, like a cucumber water sort of cool refreshing element uncommon in hoppy beer of any persuasion, i really like it, and its a nice pairing with some funky cheese. its best when its cold, but it doesnt fall apart at temperature either. the souring seems like a simple quick lacto front end thing, but its clean and professionally done. nice carbonation, relatively dry but there is a juicy recall on the swallow which seems to extend the finish. light in body but with some non barley grain structure too. very well dialed in brew, cool can, and one im glad i finally took a chance on. too bad this isnt reasonably priced, i could make a day or a weekend of it. i will be back for more from these guys!

16oz can. Poured out a clear, golden yellow color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of fruit, lemon and caramel. Sweet fruity taste with a tart lemon bite and caramel finish.

Aroma is citrus/fruit/floral hops and mild sugar. The flavor is citrus/fruit, big tropical fruit, malts and a long grapefruit hop/tart/mildly sweet finish.
