This is a wet hop West Coast IPA with Strata.
A: Pours with a touch of haze. A golden/orange color. A small white head forms but recedes and leaves just a bit of lace behind.
S: A pungent and "dank" aroma, that is a little nondescript. Just kind of a generic "passion fruit" aroma, and not much else. Its fairly aromatic, but thats about it.
T: Up front is the "dankness" which gives way to that generic passion fruit, with even a bit of strawberry. The fruitiness becomes sticky sweet. Some bitterness at first, but this builds and becomes stronger as this warms.
M/O: A medium body and moderate carbonation. Sticky fruity sweetness gives this an overly slick feel. Not hard to drink, but not particularly unique IMO.
This is basically a new wave wet hop IPA. Sticky fruitiness that is more sweet than resiny. Its decent enough, but I can't say its anything really unique. The generic passion fruit, or topical fruits, whatever you want to call it, always seems to just blend in together for me. Without anything punching through, its not a "fault" per say (which its not really, basically my impression) with this IPA, but thats just generally how a feel, for me personally, with all these new hops. I can see how others would like it though.
