A: Pours a dark brown, nearly black color. A beige head forms, but quickly recedes to a small ring. No lace left behind.
S: Roasted malts up front, and are the show. Coffee, bitter chocolate, and toasted malts. Simple and enjoyable.
T: Like the nose, all the roasted malts are up front. Again coffee, chocolate, and a bitter roast lingering on.
M/O: A medium body with crisp carbonation. Finishes very dry and clean. An easy drinking stout I can come back to.

I don't have much to say about this, just very simple. Which is far from a bad thing, actually that is why I like it. A stout on the near 5% ABV end, with plenty of character that makes in enjoyable to come back to. Yep, I'll take it.
