On tap at True Anomaly Brewing Co, poured into a stemmed tulip. Pale, clear golden yellow with a frothy head of white foam and streaky lace. Aromas of savory herbs, white pepper, farmyard funk and straw. Lemon zest, light malty body and cough candy herbal sweetness. Light to medium body and moderate carbonation. Unexpectedly complex and offbeat while still easy drinking on the patio in Houston in August.

A very interesting beer. Don’t think I have had something like this before.
Had it at the brewery, poured into a snifter. Slightly cloudy yellow with decent head and lacing. Lemony smell. Candied lemon rind flavors, licorice. Pleasant herbal sweetness. Would order again.
