A: Pours a dark reddish brown color. A small beige head forms and leaves light lace behind.
S: Dark fruits of raisins, plums, cherries. Alcohol is present and becomes a bit too noticeable for me.
T: Follows the nose with dark fruits of raisins and cherries. Belgian candied sugar makes this very sweet, with a noticeably boozy finish.
M/O: A full body with moderate carbonation. This is sticky and resiny. It is a slower sipper than I want it to be, with the heat it becomes a bit of a chore to finish.

This is unbalanced with the sweetness and the booze. There is also not a lot of nuance that I get with imports and better craft versions. I love True Anomaly, and they normally do Belgian styles really well. Though this isn't one of their better versions IMO.
