Classic American Pilsner was created by immigrant brewers who brought their lager-brewing know-how to the USA and adapted their skills to local brewing grains and hops. Gold Line is made with locally -produced barley and malted corn and American hops for a crisp and quaffable summertime lager.

This beer for what they are calling an AAL is quite taste. Very aggressively hopped and really has a pop. Malta are there too in the flavor. This beer could be classified as an IPL with the aggressive hop notes.

Tried this one on draft last summer, but they have it in 16 oz cans this summer (nice!)
Straw colored and quite bright and clear. Pours a decent sized white head, creamy and with some retention.
Has a soft, slightly sweet aroma. Tiny bit of apple. Overall a delicate, not very strong aroma.
Initial flavor definitely skews toward the malty and sweet, with a bit of a fruity character as noted in the aroma. On the back end has a nice, aggressive earthy hop flavor with a decent shot of bitterness. Might be how I imagine a macro lager tasting with a bigger hop character. The hoppiness really dries out the finish and invites another swig. Think the hops could be toned down by 10% to make it easier drinking.
Medium body and med-high carbonation. Nice to see adequate carbonation in this one.
Definitely drinks like an adjunct pilsner with fairly aggressive hopping. The hops in this one creep up over time and it seems to get hoppier as I work through the can. A slightly tongue scraping adjunct lager? Strange times in which we live.

Clear straw, thin white head, no retention or lace. Fits style, but not the prettiest beer.
Herbal and floral hops in the nose, with a grainy corn aroma as well.
Herbal hops, grainy corn on palate
Light bodied, well carbonated. More of a hop bite on the finish than I was expecting.
Not my favorite beer, but goes pretty much by the book for a BJCP Classic American Pilsner.
