Pours a golden color with a slight head and lacing
Aroma has lemongrass and hop hints
The taste follows the nose with a light lemongrass and hop flavor
A light bodied decently carbonated beer
A good Kellerbier

A quick pour from the 16-oz can; a rush of foam and a fast settling. There is a semi-cloudy amber body beneath a flimsy head. There is little lacing. Subtle sniff of grass and lemon, but not much else. Crispy lemongrass taste goes down smoothly and without any bitterness. Highly quaffable style, but the Silver Branch is a wonderful rendition. This brewery puts out several decent German styles, along with Belgium, British and a wide choice of American IPAs. A refreshing quaff in any case. (See My Review)

From a 16 oz can:

Rich golden color, very slightly cloudy. (poured a Glass Castle (GC) alongside - this one less clear as it should be). Pours nice white head, creamy and lingering.

Very classic pilsner aroma with a gentle sweetness and a nice spicy noble hop aroma.

Has a very full and rounded malty character, with the hop flavors in some ways softer seeming than in the normal GC beer. Bitterness on the back end doesn't seem quite as sharp in this one, which surprised me. Seems like more of a classic Czech Pils than the regular GC. Definitely a more drinkable beer.

Medium body and carbonation - mouthfeel stays out of the way.

Definitely surprised by how much more I like this than the regular GC. Definitely wasn't different in the way I expected, but worth a drink if you can find it.

This was always a favorite of mine in the taproom, very happy to see it in cans!
Deep gold, just a touch cloudy, nice white head, good retention and lace
Honey and bread like maltiness, herbal/spicy hops
Pretty much tastes like it smells
Soft, medium bodied, appropriate carbonation
Love this beer.
