Clear copper, thin white head, spotty lace
Lots of malt aroma- sweet bread crust and a little bit of black grape
Really deep, slightly sweet bready malt flavor
Substantial, but not heavy. Could use a touch more carbonation
I dig it

A Helles Bock per the can. And the anthropomorphic animals on the can has me wondering if the artist has watched BoJack Horseman.

Look: Deep gold to pale amber color, very clear. Pours a decent sized white head, creamy and with retention

Aromas are subtle. Has a malty sweet aroma with a tinge of apple cider.

Intensely malty up front with a slight honey-like sweetness, turning a bit more earthy midmouth. Hints of alcohol in the flavor, but the hops also assert themselves in the finish.

Medium-plus body, medium carbonation. Slight hints of alcoholic warming.

Definitely not very familiar with the Helles Bock style, but works as a paler bock. Given the malty start it is impressive how balanced it is by the end.
