I don't think this beer is available in my area ... my neighbor was nice enough to bring me a selection of this Brewer's beers after having been out of town .. they were all above average and pretty darn good and this one falls in that category ... Not sure I have seen a sour with ABV this high.. it's pretty tasty and I give it a thumbs up

Hazy gold, thin white head, not much in the way of retention or lace
The smell kinda reminds me of ambrosia salad. I personally don't like it, but I think it's what they were going for
Tastes like it smells with a nice tartness
Light bodied, appropriate carbonation.
Not my jam, but it seems like they achieved what they were going for.

Picked up this beer on a whim, as an imperial gose seemed like a bit of an oxymoron. Poured from a 16 oz can

Straw colored and somewhat cloudy, pours a moderate white head, tightly bubbled with some decent retention.

Weird sour fruit punch aroma, but more fruit juice than sour. Very tropical.

A fairly intense mixed fruit flavor up front balanced by some fairly stern sourness. More tart than I remember some previous Silver Branch goses. Overall more intensely flavored than a typical gose, and not so dry in the finish, but doesn't really drink like a nearly 8% beer. Once my taste buds had adapted, it drank smoother and didn't seem so overpoweringly fruity and tart.

Medium body and carbonation, a hint of warming (not sure if alcohol or if the sour is generating some acid reflux for me).

I like how this brewery is pushing the boundaries with fruited goses. Wouldn't be an everyday beer for me, but a nice deviation from the norm.
